Start An eBay Business

For a period of months spanning part of 2006 and 2007 I made a nice living selling on eBay. In fact, I became a Power Seller. During that time I ran approximately 4500 auctions and sold a wide variety of items from rare books, to electronics, clothing, novelty items, sporting goods and a whole lot more. As a semi-retired guy I was pulling in between $4000 and $5000 a month and having a blast doing it. I had no special skills other than the will to learn and earn.

I’ve always enjoyed thrift shops and yard sales and these venues came into play as I needed a steady supply of quality items to sell. In the course of my eBay days (I still occasionally sell and am a fairly regular buyer) I learned several things that gave me a decided advantage in what were considered to be very competitive niches. One of them is quite simple and it still baffles me that more people don’t use it, because, all other factors being equal, this little technique will almost guarantee you’ll get the sale over a competitor.
