The Art Of War Review
The Art Of War is perhaps one of the most powerful and important books ever written. Why? Not for the dynamic strategies of military warfare but for the principles behind them. This is a fairly short book that was written by Sun Tzu, a military strategist in the Kingdom Of Wu, China in the late 6th century, BC. Lionel Giles translated the treatise in 1910 and the book has become an ancient, modern classic.
The Art Of War contains 13 chapters each explaining philosophies and actual tactics of warfare. Though the information was written more than 2500 years ago, each kernel of wisdom is very much relevant in today’s world.
Applies To Everyday Life
You might be saying to yourself that a book about warfare is of no interest to you at all. But again, this is not so much about killing people and breaking things as it is about the principles necessary to carry out military warfare.
The book offers short one, two and three-sentence concepts designed so the reader becomes proficient in the preparation for, as well in the waging of war. But the term "war" easily translates to LIFE. Each bit of wisdom builds on previous information in the book.
The end result of reading and internalizing the information is that the reader becomes a wise and wary warrior, a life warrior. But the term warrior is one of relevance. Another perspective might be that the reader would be a savvy individual, one others would have a hard time fooling.
The Art Of War is a fairly short read. Each chapter is composed of very short “concepts” that apply to battle. But again, here’s the point: nearly every concept discussed also applies to life in general. Consider the following examples from the book:
“All warfare is based on deception.”
Why is this simple morsel of information so useful? Because so much of what’s happening in the world today is just that, deception. When you become aware of what mainstream media, government, big business and others are doing to derail your every effort, you’ll understand that campaign to control you is very much like warfare.
And The Art Of War will help you to position yourself for winning. Here’s another nugget:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.
If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer…”
Think of that quote for a second. It’s about knowing yourself and knowing your enemy too. That’s exactly what success in life is about about, knowing your strengths and limitations in relation to your own plans and goals. Why not download The Art Of War Now? It’s free and there is no obligation.
