User Friendly Books first came online in the summer of 2000. It was primarily developed to showcase The User Friendly Guide To Internet And Computer Terms. With little knowledge of the magic behind the World Wide Web the site became rather successful for a feature known as 200 Plus Cool Websites. That feature remains today after many updates.

Charles Steed is the founder of User Friendly Books. Among his passions are personal development and business, not necessarily in that order. Charles has been a certified hypnotherapist and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) since 2002 and has been involved with helping people since the late 1970s. After spending four years in the US Navy as a medic, he furthered his civilian career in healthcare as a registered nurse and still holds an active license today.

He’s the author of four physical books and scores of ebooks, articles and courses. He’s also been involved in real estate investing. During a five-year span in the 1990s he bought and sold more than 60 properties near Olympia, Washington. Soon after, he published his first book titled, The Streetsmart Homebuyer – Investor Secrets You Can Use To Buy A Home.

He soon found out that a successful book requires a great deal of marketing and promotion. He found himself as a guest author on more than 60 local and national radio interviews that resulted in the sale of thousands of books. He now enjoys writing for this publication as well as teaching personal development along with online marketing and promotion.
